I am tired of taking Bronze Age superstition seriously and listening to their pathetic rationalizations as to why the Bible doesn't really mean what it clearly says. We are supposed to take a talking snake at face value, but when it comes to Luke 14:33 they are all excuses and metaphors. It's irritating.
