I seize to believe in a god that allows deformities, down syndrome, etc. in innocent children. If there was a "just" god he surely would intervene, but unfortunately there is not one. We are simply imperfect animals in a imperfect world. When we die we will simply be as we were before we were born, unconscious nothingness.
