Admitting oneself to be atheist is NOT akin to joining a group that share an idea with no concrete evidence. I believe the Earth is round and not flat. That doesn't put me in opposition to the ridiculous Flat Earth Society. Gods and they should be dismissed out of hand by any realist worth his/her salt.
