Why do theists need proof that The Big Bang happened while they only require faith to believe that God created the universe?

Why do theists need proof that life began spontaneously and Evolution did the rest while they only require faith that God created us?

Why do theists require proof that the Earth is billions of years older than the biblical creation when for the Genesis account it just requires faith?
