Grand Design versus Grand Evolution?

The creationists are adamant that the eye, being such a complex structure, MUST have been designed by a designer/creator.
OK, that sounds fair enough, at the outset. It could make sense.

But tell me, you creationists. If the eye had reason to be designed by a designer THAT designer/creator MUST have been sighted, right?

So WHO, pray, designed the eye of the designer/creator?
