Hey, don't be so hasty with your demolition!
As a hiker I put great value in churches and other tall other tall edifices. They make GREAT landmarks to be guided by and a church steeple or tower usually means there's the possibility of a pub nearby.
They could also be adapted to provide shelter and accommodation for the weary traveller. Just get rid of all the gold and silver candlesticks 'cos they can be a bit of a fire hazard.

The only SIGNS that you should be looking for in a church are. A for sale SIGN, A to let [may sell] SIGN. And a do not enter dangerous building demolition in progress SIGN.

What you have to remember muslims actively slaughter each other so they in fact keep their own numbers down.

Everyone knows that catholics are prolific breeders 1.2 billion of them. Can you therefore imagine if there was no celibacy for the clergy, how many more of them there would be, on this overpopulated planet that we're on.
I'd pay more attention to the fecundity of the muslims..

Is this the one she kept his baby-teeth in? Maybe they could run a DNA test on them, just as I suggested the other day.

BREAKING NEWS: Christian archaeologists say they are close to discovering the chalice Mary was given when she gave birth to her son, they said that it will be easy to identify as it will be etched with the words, "It's a boy" with a line through boy and God written above it.
Punishment is all relative. In today's civilised world his "crime" would have warranted a stern telling off from the local magistrate for upsetting the peace.

Bead rattling season is with us again. The Crucifixion. Some facts about crucifixtions. The Romans used it to stop dissent, the person didn't carry the whole cross only the cross beam, it was a means of torture and a form of humilation the Romans stripped the person naked before they were nailed to the cross, so no loin cloth. Being nailed to the cross didn't prevent body functions to cease to exist and imagine having a large meal the night before and all that wine. When the cross was placed into the ground the body was only above the ground a couple of feet allowing scavengers to gnaw at the body. The body was not removed from the cross after a couple of days it was left in situ until the body became skeletal then it was removed.
An uncountable number, I'd imagine.
There would've been (and are even now) even more potentially great minds that were/are curtailed WITHOUT their dying.

I have often wondered how many great minds that there would have been, that society would have benefited from, if their lives had not been cut short because they were secular and against religious teachings.
If an organization doesn't weed out whatever evil it has within, it is doomed to be come a haven and breeding ground for that same evil

Some very important questions that every catholic should be asking themselves when they go to get their wafer on Sunday. Is it the priest giving you your wafer that has just recently arrived a pedophile? was it the one that has just recently left? or is it both?.
