Yes! But as your average Christian would tell you: "The Lord works in mysterious ways." This phrase alone explains why making any attempt to persuade a believer with logic is a fool's errand. Or better expressed by my favorite quote on this matter:
Debating (believers) is rather like trying to play chess with a pigeon; it knocks the pieces over, craps on the board, and flies back to its flock to claim victory."
